The third type is to be born in a peaceful country without natural disasters or man-made disasters.
The fourth type is to be able to hear the Dharma and understand it
Fifth, is able to practice according to the Dharma
Of course, the greatest and most special blessing is to be able to take refuge in the Holy Venerable Living Buddha Liansheng, the master of great perfection. Therefore, it would be a great pity for those fellow disciples who have already stepped into the True Buddha family to leave.
The master advises everyone to always observe their own minds, to keep our minds never leaving the root guru, to think of the root guru every moment of every day, and to keep the root guru above our heads. As long as we have pure faith in our root guru, even if our practice is insufficient, we can still rely on the root guru’s Buddha power, and Dharma power, to be reborn in the Buddha Pure Land and even ultimately achieve enlightenment.
The master explained why some people receive responses to their prayers or practice, while others do not? This is related to each person’s blessing. Buddhism says that we should refrain from doing evil, practice all good, and purify our minds. This is the teaching of all Buddhas. Do not do evil is actually a precept. Practitioners must at least observe the five precepts of not killing, stealing, adultery, lying and drinking alcohol; doing good is to accumulate blessings for one’s own; otherwise, one will suffer reincarnation in the three evil realms. Among the six realms of reincarnation, only the human realm is a mixture of suffering and happiness, and is the best place for spiritual practice.
If you want to be blessed, it is important to give. The key point of any wealth giving practice is to protect the causes of wealth. This means that we should rely on good deeds and use methods such as giving to accumulate good causes and conditions so as to keep our blessings from being lost. The key to accumulating wealth: First, give more; Second, people love money, but they must earn it in a proper way, not by ill-gotten gains.
There are several types of giving:
Material charity: using money to help others; such as supporting temples and donating to charity are all considered material charity.
Respectful giving: showing respect through body, speech, and mind, such as praising others, speaking kind words, or even putting your hands together in worship.
Giving alms: Go to a temple to volunteer; temples are the places where you can accumulate blessings the fastest, so you should know how to make use of them.
Daily offerings: Offering three meals a day to the root guru and buddha will keep the practitioner’s mind from leaving the true Buddha. This is also a good way to accumulate merits.
Finally, the master said that the people who are truly blessed are not the wealthy people in the world, but the people who truly understand how to be content and happy and who know how to practice, they are the truely blessed. Through practice, one can achieve purity of body, speech, and mind. Only when body, speech, and mind are pure can one achieve right concentration. Only with right concentration can one observe the most precious treasure in the practitioner’s heart, which is the Buddha nature that everyone possesses. As long as we truly practice the true Buddha’s teachings and wholeheartedly rely on our root guru, we will definitely reach our destination and achieve Buddhahood.
After the lecture, the main master gave everyone a blessing empowerment from Yellow Jambhala. The Dharma Assembly ended successfully in a peaceful and joyful atmosphere.
