Introduction to Ksitigarbha
:
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is one of the four great Bodhisattvas in Chinese Buddhism. He is widely spread by Buddhism for his great filial piety and great vows. In his past life, Ksitigarbha rescued his mother from suffering in hell several times and has continuously vowed to save all suffering beings, especially those in hell. If someone praises, worships, makes offerings to, chants, or builds a statue of Ksitigarbha, he will be reborn in the thirty-three heavens for a hundred generations and will never fall into the three evil realms. The Ksitigarbha Yoga of Liberating Flaming Mouth Ceremony is a food offering ceremony to save sentient beings such as hell hungry ghosts.

Introduction t0 Hayagriva
Hayagriva is an incarnation of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, possessing swift magical powers. He can break any form of black magic or sorcery, his power is boundless. Hayagriva’s bite force is immense; he can use his teeth to perform all methods of pacifying, increasing, attracting, and subjugating. The main merits and benefits of the Hayagriva practice are twofold: first, it liberates beings in the animal realm; second, it protects against all evil curses and spells. It prevents witchcraft, black magic, and calamities from befalling the body, bringing health, peace, and auspiciousness.
